Lecturers can compile teaching materials and literature for the students attending their courses as trimester-specific reference items/documents (Trimesterapparat).
The materials can be placed in the library or posted electronically in the trimester-specific reference items/documents portal (Trimesterapparateportal).
Order books and articles for your trimester-specific reference items/documents electronically from the library stock. Articles and book excerpts from other libraries can also be ordered via interlibrary loan.
Your ordered printed books will be placed in the entrance area of the university library. They are organised by lecturer and course and marked with an orange stripe in the book.
Articles are scanned and posted electronically in the portal. You can also add your own materials such as lecture scripts or interesting links.
After entering a password, your students can access the literature list of your course via the trimester-specific reference items/documents portal and either directly access literature or find books by means of the shelfmark in the trimester-specific reference items/documents shelf.
Creating trimester-specific reference items/documents requires a one-time registration via “Login” in the portal. You will then receive your personal login data by email and can set up any number of trimester-specific reference items/documents.
The following document types can be selected:
The progress of your order will be indicated by various status messages.
Trimester-specific reference items/documents are created for one trimester. You can, however, manually adjust the expiration date in the portal. At the end of the period, trimester-specific reference items/documents are automatically deactivated. The bibliographic details of the titles are retained.
Renewing your trimester-specific reference items/documents is possible at any time.
The “löschen” (delete) function allows you to permanently remove all trimester-specific reference items/documents data, including bibliographic data.
